Clixgalore.com Review
September 5, 2008
Clixgalore is a large affiliate network based in Australia. The network
is mainly australian and U.K merchants, however there are some good U.S merchants in the network too in certain niches.
Payouts: Payouts done once you reach $50 USD or 100 AUD or 100 british lbs. They pay by paypal, check, or direct deposit. They charge 1 dollar a month for balances over $10 USD. They do not aggregate all the balances together, but instead do it per each website and currency. Clixgalore has their own affiliate program that pays 10% for life of any affiliates you sign under your link and up to $100 for merchants you refer.
Affiliate membership requirements: Auto approval if using email address off your domain. No pornography, racism, ‘paid to surf’, ‘paid to read’ or ‘paid to click’ or any illegal activity.
Pros: Paypal payment option and no social security number required. Datafeeds, deeplinking and 2 tier affiliate programs available among participating merchants. Another interesting feature is the ability to search by 2 tier affiliates only if you want. Good for affiliates looking for a choice of international merchants, especially in Australian, New zealand, and U.K.
Cons: They don’t aggregate all the balances of your websites together or by currencies, so it is hard to reach minimum payment. For those getting paid in U.S currency, it means getting charged 1 dollar a month after passing the $10 U.S balance level, until you reach U.S $50. They don’t monitor their affiliates for tracking compliance very good like shareasale does. The control panel is complicated and direct product links are cumbersome compared to most other networks. Advertisers and publishers have complained of payment problems. However, there seems to be less payment complaints now.
