HotelsCombined Affiliate Program
June 27, 2009 | No Comments »
HotelsCombined.com has a great Hotel Affiliate program. Hotelscombined.com is a very popular hotel price comparison site. At Hotels Combined you can use their free online search tool to automatically search hundreds of hotel reservations sites, allowing you to find the best deal online. You can save a lot of time using their service because it shows you all the different results together as one search result. I’ve compared their results to the major competitors, such as Expedia.com or TripAdvisor.com and Hotels Combined is a very good site.
The Hotels Combined affiliate program is very generous, they will pay you 70% of the total revenue on a 12 month cookie generated from the resulting travel site after clicking your affiliate link. That is a very long cookie length and high payout rate. It doesn’t get any better than that. Hotels combined affiliate program also has a lot of special features available to help enhance your affiliate profits. The tools available are banner ads, general and deep text links, interactive search boxes, Customize colours and elements of design of our pages, private branding (white label), Select which suppliers to compare and which to exclude, XML data feeds, CSV data feeds and a XML search API. The API customization allows you to have complete customization. You can see a live example of their API being used on hotelsbot.com.
ExitJunction.com Review
February 10, 2009 | No Comments »
ExitJunction.com is the first network to serve non-intrusive pay per click ads to website visitors only after they leave the website! They serve a page full of ads when a user is trying to leave your site via the back button from the search engines. It’s a nonintrusive way to earn a little extra from people you normally wouldn’t. It won’t show the ExitJunction.com ads when they leave your site any other way. The ads are only shown when they come through search engines. When they leave via the back button, they probably won’t ever come back anyways, so might as well get some extra earnings from it. If they come via referred link on another site they won’t show the Exitjunction.com ads when they hit the back button. If they leave from a different page they originally came from or close the browser it won’t show the ads either.
I recently got an email from ExitJunction.com to try out their service. I signed up and put the javascript on my webpages and found a way to boost my income daily overnight. I been using them for a while now and make a decent amount of money. First you signup and then submit each website you want to put the code on. Approval was fast for me, but I hear they are getting a backlog due to so many new signups, so it may take a few days to get approved. Youll also notice your adsense impressions will jump up about a third when you add the exitjunction code. This is only because a lot of users seeing the Exitjunction ads decide to go back on your site again. This should translate into extra earnings on Exitjunction.com and adsense and affiliate ads, as they take a better look at your site the 2nd time and maybe click on an ads on your site.

How to earn money using Digg and Stumbleupon
January 16, 2009 | No Comments »
Social networks, like Digg and Stumbleupon, are a way to boost traffic to websites through word of mouth in the networks. Now you can get paid to submit links for webmasters through these networks.
What is Digg & Stumbleupon?
Digg and Stumbleupon both work on a voting system, where users can vote a website link positively or negatively. Those with many positive votes will get high visibility, those with more negatives than positive votes, will get buried and eventually taken off the site.
Is there any catch?
Yes, you are not supposed to get paid to do this, so you could get banned by Digg and Stumbleupon. They have special procedures at the site to help you avoid this. Realize that doing this is unethical because it is manipulating the original intent of the social networks.
How Subvertandprofit works:
With Subvertandprofit , you will get an email everytime there is a new offer. You will get paid $0.50 for each digg or stumble vote. Votes are very quick to do. Payments are done by paypal. Their referral program pays 20% of the earnings of other users and 10% of advertisers in your downline.
Auto allowance
January 16, 2009 | No Comments »
Many companies don’t realize there is an alternative to leasing or giving your company vehicle to an employee. This is alternative is a auto allowance that has distinct advantages. Corporate Reimbursement Services, Inc. (CRS) estimates that on average, using this auto allowance saves an employer about $3000 per year.
How does the CRS program save 3000 dollars through their allowance? First it does it by reducing in administrative costs managing the fleet, usually through a 3rd party. Personal use expense savings because you no longer have to worry about a employer using your vehicle and running up gas and wear and tear for non-business associated trips. You’ll save with maintenance costs savings because most employees abuse the driving practices and maintenance because it is not their car. When it’s their own vehicle they take much better care of it. Idle vehicle and disposal costs are minimized because you don’t have to worry about it being turned in “upside down” in the lease, stored or transported to a different territory. Simply stop the auto allowance, once the employee is terminated. Finally, you save with capital expense because you don’t have to make large investments up front in buying vehicles. Instead you can use this money to be used for important crucial company equipment that allows the real part of your business to grow. I encourage you to check out the CRS website because it will help your company save tens of thousands, when you add up the savings of 3000 dollars per employee.

How to check cookies to ensure proper affiliate tracking
January 15, 2009 | No Comments »
If you are apart of a affiliate network, for example Shareasale, you dont need to worry about verifying cookies. However, if you are going lone ranger and joining an in house affiliate program, you should doublecheck the cookies. An affiliate program might claim they have a 60 day cookie, but the only way to check is to actually click on your affiliate link and then take a look at the length of cookie before it expires.
I have personally had experiences where an in house program did not have the cookie length as long as they claimed. I immediately dropped those programs because that is completely dishonest. If you want to look at the dates a cookie expires, you have to look at them in Netscape/Mozilla or Opera browsers, as IE doesn’t display it in a user friendly format.

A1Supplements Affiliate Program Review
January 12, 2009 | No Comments »
A1supplements is a supplement store, which focuses mostly on bodybuilding and fat loss type supplements. I have years of personal experience with this affiliate and can tell you they deliver a very high earning rate, especially for bodybuilding related websites. This could work great for any kind of fitness or bodybuilding or supplement related site.
This is actually my highest earning affiliate program because of the good payout rate, their great reputation, and because they have a 2nd tier for referred publishers. I’ve had some people click on my link and that resulted them being a high earning affiliate which earns me passive income. Even though they aren’t as well known as Bodybuilding.com or some other supplement companies they make up for it for the extra commissions.
Payouts are 15% on sales for 60 days plus 5% for life of any commissions of sub-affiliates you join to the program. Payments are by either check or paypal. Their affiliate program is an in house program. They have no Datafeeds and they will manualy review your application to join as an affiliate. Join A1supplements affiliate program.

Ways you could get scammed by affiliate programs
January 6, 2009 | No Comments »
I wish affiliate marketers didn’t have to worry about the affiliate programs themselves scamming us, but sadly it can happen to you.
1) Cookie length. Some affiliate merchants do not set the actual cookie length as long as they claim on the site. I wrote another article about checking cookies and highly encourage you to read it.
2) Incomplete/No tracking. This is more of a problem with in house programs because there is no 3rd party network to ensure they are tracking all of your sales correctly. Joining a affiliate network is not bullet proof as everyone checks compliance differently, but Shareasale by far has the best affiliate tracking compliance system.
3) Not paying. Some affiliate programs, usually small in house affiliate programs, will allow you to build up a nice commission balance, but will either suspend you before payment is due or just never bother to pay you. Pay per click programs also may use the guise of suspected click fraud, even if you are not guilty, to suspend a affiliate before payout is due.
Free Ad-Supported Voip Service
January 5, 2009 | No Comments »
I’ve always heard from people you could make phone calls on the internet without paying for it. I never really took the time to investigate it until I found CallingAmerica.com. They support web based phone calls (Voip) to any landline or mobile phone in the U.S or Canada for free! This is the first of it’s kind where they are a totally free ad-supported VOIP service. This is a a great service for people who really want to cut back their expenses, isn’t that everyone? Most of us don’t really need to be on the phone that much, so why not cut back. I’m really surprised that a company can offer such a great service for free. I know online advertising is becoming a powerful income source these days and it’s nice to have these services available for people who need to cut costs.
If you are an unregistered member, you can still use the service, but you are limited to a 2 minute length call. If you register you can have a 15 minute length phone call. To use the service simply type in the number and have your microphone connected to your computer. This service works with both PC and mac and doesn’t require any kind of special software. It works totally through the web interface. You do need a broadband connection to use the service. I encourage you to at least give it a quick try, you don’t need to be registered to test it out.
